Apprenticeship with Gand & Bernardel. He became the head of the firm in 1901, when Gustave Bernardel retired.

Honours:
Luthiers du Conservatoire National de Musique. Luthier de l'Opéra. Experts at the Civil Tribunal of the Seine.

Exceptional violin based on a Guarneri model. Minor crack on the low right part of the table. It has never been opened.

Started making violins in Pistoia and moved to Florence in 1885.

obtained various recognitions and prizes and was a luminary of the Tuscan School of the 20th century.
